Very bad handling of situation with the washing machine and fridge freezer ! Both haven’t been working since day one that we moved at the rented property and month and half done the line we still don’t have those working . Property manager Sarah is just useless ! Still waiting for Jade to call me back , 5days now ! I would not recommend this agent at all ! Erih

Reasonable... not Purple Bricks but not Hamptons either... And based on the work they did to get this over the line, I don't think it would have been possible in a Purple Bricks model.

Rachel has been brilliant all the way through our, at times, quite stressful sale! Nothing has been too much trouble and she is a pleasure to deal with - thoroughly professional while being really friendly and caring. We have recently purchased our property in Merrow through Gascoigne Pees. I must say , their valuation is very practical and makes sense. Prior viewing property with Gascoigne Pees, we had bitter experience with Burns and Webber. We felt, their valuation was over priced. Even though we made an offer to a property in Burpham through Burns and Webber, but their sales negotiator did not negotiate well. We felt he lacked in knowledge in high value properties. Then we opted out from Burns and Webber, and signed up with Gascoigne Pees. We have found Gascoigne Pees extremely professionals, and know their job very well. The estate agent (Unable to remember the name) who helped us viewing couple of properties in Merrow/Burpham was so knowledgeable! She exactly knew what we wanted. The property we bought, we actually did not initially shortlisted it. However Rachel advised us to have a look, and we loved it. Often it's not easier to shortlist properties on the website, but when you have knowledgeable estate agents, it saves so much time. Even after purchasing the property, they kept us well informed throughout the processes, and helped us to go through the challenges to complete the purchase. We are very pleased to work with Tom Miles and Rachel East. I must recommend them if you intend to purchase any property in Burpham/Merrow areas.

Quite expensive. Percentage basis on a pricey property is quite a lot of money. However we did get good value in terms of pre-sales finding of prospective buyers and post-sales progress chasing

Gascoigne and Pees in Merrow did a grand job on both the above matters. The chain got long and complicated; Tom Miles did a great job finding out what was going on despite some reluctance with certain agents in the chain. Tom would phone anyone and keep digging. Without his efforts, we would certainly have given up and walked away from the whole transaction.
Pre-sales, they had a strategy for how to advertise the price and it worked well

The house was valued at £389,950. We sold £14,950 under this incurring extra Solicitor's fees due to first buyer not going ahead. This together with agent's fees made final settlement amount lower than originally anticipated.
